Just minutes from Amagansett Main Street, this architect's own residence is a study in light, proportion and effortless luxury. Perfectly positioned with a coveted western orientation, the home is bathed in natural light throughout the day, culminating in beautiful afternoon and evening sun across the pool and outdoor living spaces. Walls of Fleetwood glass blur the line between indoors and out, flooding the dramatic, loft-like interiors with sunlight and framing the surrounding landscape. At the heart of the home, a soaring great room with cedar-clad ceilings creates an impressive yet inviting gathering space, while wide-plank rift-and-quartered white oak floors bring warmth and sophistication to the modern architecture. The sleek chef's kitchen is equally refined, with custom Florense NYC millwork, Miele and Sub-Zero appliances, quartz surfaces and an understated aesthetic designed for both everyday living and entertaining. Custom millwork continues throughout the home, including the office, den and serene primary suite, where a beautifully appointed bath with MGS Milano fixtures creates a spa-like retreat. Automated shades and carefully considered finishes add another layer of comfort and sophistication. Outside, expansive terraces give way to a heated saltwater Gunite pool with integrated spa, creating a private resort-like setting perfectly positioned for long summer afternoons and spectacular evening light. A detached two-car garage, full house generator, and extensive patio with built-in barbecue completes the property. Sophisticated yet relaxed, architectural yet warm, this is modern Hamptons living at its best-a beautifully executed retreat combining exceptional design, abundant natural light and a prime location just moments from the heart of Amagansett.
